Body Every two years, coaches, students, parents, and fans look forward to the announcement by the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) regarding district realignment and that time has arrived once again.

Body The Van Lady Vandals and the Canton Eaglettes were well represented on the District 15-4A All-District Volleyball Team that was recently released. Van Jordan Flodder and Kayla White of the Lady Vandals were named as the ‘Co-Offensive Players of the Year’ in the district.

Body Kara Nixon popped the nets for 41 points Jan. 6 to lead the two-time defending Class 2A, Division 2, state champion Martins Mill Lady Mustangs to a dominating win over Alba- Golden in district play, 8332.

Body The Grand Saline Lady Indians traveled to Eustace Jan. 6 for a District 15-3A game at Eustace’s Kirk Gymnasium.

Body The Eustace Bulldogs boys’ basketball team hosted the Grand Saline Indians for a nightcap of District 15-3A play at Kirk Gymnasium in Eustace Jan. 6.

Body The Grand Saline Lady Indians lost a tough 44-41 decision Dec. 19 at Malakoff. The Lady Indians are currently 0-2 in District 15-3A play. Sophomore Maddie Rumfield (22) dribbles the ball up the court and senior Kolbi Phillips drives toward the basket.

Body The Wills Point Tigers and the Canton Eagles were well represented on the District 6-4A, Division 2, All-District Football Team that was recently released.

Body The District 7-4A, Division 2, All-District Football Team released recently includes several members of the Van Vandals. Coach Jared Moffatt’s Vandals finished their 2025 season with an overall record of 7-5, a runner-up finish in District Championship Game.
