March 13, 1960 – February 17, 2026 Funeral services for Mr. Matthew Clifford Green, 65, of Grand Saline, were held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Bartley Funeral Home, with John Villareal and Larry Shelton officiating.

Every two years, coaches, students, parents, and fans look forward to the announcement by the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL) regarding district realignment and that time has arrived once again.

The Van Lady Vandals and the Canton Eaglettes were well represented on the District 15-4A All-District Volleyball Team that was recently released. Van Jordan Flodder and Kayla White of the Lady Vandals were named as the ‘Co-Offensive Players of the Year’ in the district.
