In the City of Fruitvale, Brandon Russell is running unopposed in the Mayor’s race, but there is also an alcohol-related issue on the ballot as well that reads as follows, ‘The legal sale of mixed beverages within the city limits of Fruitvale, Texas.’ Early Voting in the City of Fruitvale election will be at the Hallie Randall Community Center, located at 1063 VZCR 1129, from 1-5 p.m.

Elwood Baptist Church in Wills Point will be having their Homecoming to mark 128 years since its organization in 1898, on Sunday, April 19. “There will be special music brought by members of the church,” said a church spokesperson.
