Annual VZC Historical Commission report presented

In the absence of VZC Historical Commission Chairman Elvis Allen, the report was presented to the commissioners’ court by VZC Historical Commission Publicist Suzie Bass.

Canton sculptor plans tribute to Kerrville flood victims

On July 4, 2025, an unspeakable tragedy occurred in the Hill Country in Kerr County. Before dawn, in less than an hour, heavy rains caused flash flooding on the tranquil Guadalupe River, with waters quickly rising up to 36 feet.

Park improvements discussed during Edom council meeting

At a regularly scheduled meeting on March 12 at the Edom Community Center, the Edom City Council moved forward on several fronts, from park improvements to municipal landscaping contracts. The session opened with the calling of the roll and approving last month’s minutes and financial reports.
