Horton resigns from Van School Board

Body The Van School Board accepted the resignation of Place 6 trustee Brian Horton on June 15 during the board’s regular monthly meeting. Horton has accepted a position with the Levelland Fire Department as he and his family will be moving from Van ISD.

Van City Council approves board appointments

America’s 250th Anniversary Resolution approved

Body davidb@vanzandtnews.com A resolution recognizing the upcoming America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration was unanimously approved June 17 by the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court during its regular meeting. VZC Judge Andy Reese read the resolution to those in attendance.
