Warm weather greeted those in attendance June 7 during the Hope Center Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser on the parking lots of First Baptist Church in Canton. The community-wide fundraiser featured First Responders, a helicopter, plus farm equipment.

A lot of rain accompanied by high winds arrived in Van Zandt County late Sunday morning, June 1, including the First Monday Trades Day area in Canton. No injuries were reported as numerous trees fell to the ground along with a number of power outages occuring.
