Facility needs discussed during VISD meeting

Future facility needs over the next few years at Van ISD was a primary topic of discussion during the regular monthly meeting of the Van School Board March 10. Van ISD Superintendent Don Dunn, Van ISD Director of Operations/Support Services Richard Pride, and Van ISD Director of Business/Support Services Danny Morrow joined the trustees in the discussion.

Van EDC receives state recognition for second consecutive year

For the second year in a row, the City of Van Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was recognized with an Economic Excellence Recognition award from the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC). The award recipients for 2024 were announced during the 2025 TEDC Winter Conference Feb.
