Body Four high school graduation ceremonies were held in Van Zandt County May 23 including Van, Edgewood, Fruitvale, and Grand Saline as the 2024-25 school year came to a close. Graduation ceremonies were held in Martins Mill on May 15 and in Canton on May 16.

Diplomas received by 56 Edgewood High School graduates

Body Edgewood High School held its graduation ceremony at the EHS Gymnasium May 23 with 56 seniors receiving their diplomas. Following the processional, ‘Pomp and Circumstance,’ EHS Principal John Honstreiter welcomed those in attendance.

Body Hope Center in Canton will be hosting a community- wide Touch-A-Truck event from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at the First Baptist Church of Canton parking lots.

Body A total of 25 seniors received their diplomas May 23 during the 2025 Fruitvale High School Graduation in the FHS Gymnasium. Following the procession, ‘Pomp and Circumstance,’ and the National Anthem, Fruitvale ISD Superintendent Rebecca Bain welcomed those in attendance.

Body A good turnout was on hand May 23 for the Grand Saline High School Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony at Indian Memorial Stadium. GSHS Class of 2025 Graduate Carson Brown welcomed those in attendance.
