Mattie Inez Hunt Wade was born October 3, 1924, in Mount Enterprise and died August 25, 2023, in Opelika, Alabama. A native of Texas, she was born to Herman Ross Hunt and Nora Belle Hunt October 3, 192, in Mount Enterprise (Rusk County).

Funeral services were arranged to honor the life of Dorothy Earline Pierson, 91, in Fruitvale. The services were held Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Following the service, she was laid to rest at the Ola Cemetery in Kaufman. Visitation took place one hour before the service.

Memorial services to remember and honor Joseph Daniel “Pepe” Culver were held on Aug. 26, 2023, at Hiett’s Lybrand Funeral Home Chapel, Wills Point. Following the service, he was laid to rest at White Rose Cemetery.
