Don’t Guess, Soil Test program set for February 21

The Van Zandt Extension Livestock and Forage committee and the Van Zandt County Farm Bureau are sponsoring a soil test campaign that kicks off Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Event Center. This is for any forage producer or home gardener.

Commissioners seeking new courthouse facilities manager

The search for a new Van Zandt County Courthouse Facilities manager is underway following approval to proceed with finding someone to fill the position by the VZC Commissioners Court Following the postponement of the meeting originally scheduled for Feb. 1 due to the winter storm in VZC, the commissioners’ court rescheduled the meeting for Feb. 8 in the VZC Court at Law Courtroom.
