According to the Van Zandt County Clerk’s office, the proposition on the ballot in a special called election May 6 for Van Zandt County Emergency Services District (ESD) #3 was defeated in a 147122 vote.

Final Early Voting totals were released May 3 as Early Voting came to a close May 2 in the city and school elections in VZC. Election Day voting took place May 6, but results were not available at press time.
