Glenda Pauline Roberts, 78, of Grand Saline, Texas, passed away on Sept. 9, 2021. She died in the nursing home where she had been for three days. She was a teacher for many years and ended her teaching career in 2005 in Special Education at Quitman Elementary School.

A family memorial service for Willie Frank Johnson was held on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Edgewood, Texas.

Homer Bradley Whitton was born Oct. 22, 1979, in Kaufman, Texas. He had been a resident of Canton, formerly living in the Whitton community. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Canton Church of Christ. He enjoyed history documentaries, cars, University of Texas football and spending time with his kids.

James Harold Wilson, 66, of Alba, passed away Sept. 11, 2021, in Tyler.

Murray Clyde Tanner, 77, of Wills Point, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, in Tyler.

Paul David Copeland passed away on Sept. 10, 2021.

Ronald Eugene Knox, 74, of Edgewood, passed away on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at his home.

Services for Virginia “Ginny” Durbin Crickman, 83, of Grand Saline, were held Sept. 18, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home with Dave Johnstone officiating.

Services for Hollis Ray Griffin, 89, of Forney, were held Sept. 11, 2021, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with the Rev. Dustin Deaton officiating. Visitation was one hour prior. Interment was in Haven of Memories.

Michael Lynn Ramsey, 74, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, in Tyler, Texas. A celebration of life for Michael was held, Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Ramsey’s Roadhouse. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
