Services for Carolyn Edgar Smith, 67, of Grand Saline, were held Sept. 20, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Bert Fite officiating.

Interment followed in Creagleville Cemetery.

Carolyn passed away Sept. 16, 2021, at her home in Grand Saline. She was born Dec. 6, 1953, in Grand Saline to Henry Zink and Hazel Louise Chaney Edgar. She spent most of her life in Grand Saline and worked as a life insurance customer service representative. Carolyn was a member of Lawrence Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, “Tiny” Smith.

Survivors include her brother, Jacky Edgar (Dawn) of Canton; sister, Helen Hudgins (Jerry) of Grand Saline; five nieces, Candy Facklam (Wade) of Elkhart, Traci Allen (Jamie) of Cooper, Shelly Mosley of Grand Saline, Micki Johnson (Patrick) of Whitehouse, and Kim Currey of Alba and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Wade Facklam, Jamie Allen, Tom Whitley, Jacob Whitley, Joe Limberger, and Josh Facklam.
