Richard Oscar DuBose, 80, of Canton, Texas, passed from this life on Aug. 26, 2021, after a brief illness. Born in Lubbock, Texas on Oct. 10, 1940, to Aaron and Christine Hammond DuBose. Richard was a devout Christian, loving husband and father, and enjoyed being Paw- Paw to all his grandchildren.

Gerald Wayne Barrett, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away earlier this year. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Jeanette, his parents, and several siblings.

A gathering of family and friends for Georgie Lee Nelson, 84, of Forney, Texas, was held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Funeral services for Delireen Da’Pri Autry, 18, of Mesquite, TX, were held Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. The family requests that all attendees wear a mask at services. Burial was held at Greenwood Cemetery.

Jimmy Lee Holland, 80, passed away on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021.
