Leadership Van Zandt Class 5 started recently with a weekend retreat that consisted of an overnight stay, a great meal together with a wonderful guest speaker to motivate the class, according to Leadership Van Zandt board member and Class 1 graduate Stacy Crossley. The retreat began with an overnight stay at the NYLO Hotel in Las Colinas before moving to Ponder for a program called ‘Leadership on the Move.“ In the morning, Class 5 spent a full day of team building exercises that fostered development of self-confidence, group trust, and cohesiveness within the team,” said Crossley. “I’m so excited about Class 5. I think this is going to be a very active group that will make a huge difference in VZC.”

Whitton Community Center to host fundraiser Oct. 7
