Wills Point would come up short in the contest, narrowly winning the first set before falling to Ford 24-26, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

The 2022 football season has taken plenty of twists and turns for county football teams since play began back on Aug. 26. Last week proved to be no exception as Canton returned to the win column, Edgewood stayed perfect on the young season, Grand Saline posted its second consecutive shutout, Wills Point took the field without head coach Tommy Poynter, Van suffering a rare lopsided defeat and Fruitvale missing game action entirely due to injury concerns within the program.
