America’s 250th birthday is approaching, and the Neches River Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) is working actively to promote patriotism in Van Zandt County.

There will be a special program recognizing Flag Day and the 251st birthday of the United States Army beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial located at the intersection of State Highways 19 and 243 in Canton.
