The trustees approved the resignations of the following personnel: Sam Harvey, Van High School Assistant Principal; Jennifer Barker, teacher; Abby Doring, Van ISD Communications Coordinator; Taylor Gattis, teacher; Kalen Hansen, Van ISD Network Administrator; Elizabeth Harvey, teacher; Caitlann Wiggins, teacher; Lacey Flores, teacher; Danyale Jones, teacher/ coach; Austin Fleming, teacher/coach; Sunni Jo Ruiz, teacher; Natalie Brown, assistant principal; and Ashton Carpenter, teacher/coach.

U.S. Army, Flag Day to be recognized during ceremony

There will be a special program recognizing Flag Day and the 251st birthday of the United States Army beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial located at the intersection of State Highways 19 and 243 in Canton.
