Four individuals named to VISD Hall of Fame

davidb@vanzandtnews.com During the regular monthly meeting of the Van School Board March 23, four individuals were announced as the 2026 Van ISD Faculty and Staff Hall of Fame inductees. The announcement was made by Van ISD Superintendent Don Dunn.

Proposed rate increase suspended by Edgewood council

At its March 9 regular monthly meeting, the Edgewood City Council moved swiftly through a slate of 10 agenda items, adopting each by a 4-0 vote. Mayor Steve Steadham, joined by councilmembers Charlie Crabb, Inez Goggans, Ruby Smith and Louis Dunn, presided over a session that ran approximately 45 minutes at Edgewood City Hall.
