VZC dog owner arrested following SPCA hearing

Body A Van Zandt County dog owner was arrested and charged with animal cruelty following a civil custody hearing Monday, April 1, according to information released by the SPCA of Texas. The hearing was held in the VZC Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 courtroom.

Body The Van Zandt Junior Livestock Auction took place Friday, March 29 during the 66th annual VZC Fair. Steer, sheep, goat, hog, broiler and ag mechanic exhibitors competed for one of the 115 spots in the auction.

Van ISD to close for Solar Eclipse

SPCA removes 17 animals from VZC property

Elwood Baptist Church celebrating 126 years April 7

Body Elwood Baptist Church in Wills Point will be having their homecoming to mark 126 years since its organization in 1898 on Sunday, April 7. “We will be having brother Billy Smith to bring the morning message,” said a church spokesperson.
