Mustangs tame Lions in 61-22 rout

Body sports@vanzandtnews.com The Martins Mill Mustangs hit the road this week, closing out the month of November with a game in Teague. Martins Mill would outpace the Lions in all four quarters of the contest on their way to a 61-22 win.

Lady Dogs dominate Superlative recognitions

Body The Edgewood Lady Dogs were as impressive as any county volleyball program during the 2022 season, earning bragging rights with wins over Canton, Van and Wills Point during non-district play before steamrolling their way to an 11-1 record during District 12-3A play.

Thompson named District 16-4A MVP

Body sports@vanzandtnews.com The Canton Eaglettes set the standard for county volleyball programs during the 2022 season, reaching the Regional Tournament where they fell just short against an Aubrey program that would ultimately finish as the runner-up in Class 4A this season.

Lady Dogs roll past Lindale
