A resolution authorizing Van Zandt County Criminal District Attorney Tonda Curry to write a letter requesting a copy of all plans from the company proposing to build a battery storage facility in VZC was approved unanimously by the VZC Commissioners Court during its regular meeting Dec. 4.

Vandals overcome halftime deficit to outlast Sunnyvale, 42-38

Overcoming a 10-point deficit at halftime, Coach Jared Moffatt’s Vandals rallied for a 42-38 dramatic victory over the Sunnyvale Raiders in the regional semifinal round of the Class 4A, Division 2, state football playoffs Nov.
