davidb@vanzandtnews.com Van Zandt County Fire Marshal Kevin Palmer discussed two items with the VZC Commissioners’ Court during its regular meeting March 12. The first item dealt with a revised fire marshal fee schedule which received unanimous approval from the commissioners’ court.

The Republican Club of Van Zandt County celebrated election victories of this past election cycle at their MAGA Gala Dinner/ Fundraiser on Friday evening, Feb. 28.

The Edgewood boys and girls varsity track teams competed March 6 at the Blue Bird Relays in Wills Point. In the boys’ division, Edgewood finished in seventh place with 49 points.
