November 30, 1943- March 7, 2025 Robert Luther Milam II was born in Dallas on November 30, 1943, to Clarence Sidney Milam and Eleanor Faust Milam. He succumbed to an aggressive cancer odyssey which began on February 10 and ended with his death on March 7, 2025.

ANDY REESE Van Zandt County Judge Van Zandt County experienced significant tree damage from May and June storms last year, downing many trees throughout the county. Road and bridge crews worked to get the trees removed from the roads, tossing them into the ditches to clear the roads for traffic.

At approximately 2:49 a.m., the Terrell Police Department received a 911 call indicating a crash notification on a cell phone in the area of State Highway 205 and Colquitt Road.

Van ISD Superintendent Don Dunn, Van ISD Director of Operations/Support Services Richard Pride, and Van ISD Director of Business/Support Services Danny Morrow joined the trustees in the discussion.
