June 1, 1965 – July 10,2024 Lynne Marie Hood (Nation) of Edgewood, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on June 1, 1965, in Dallas, Lynne was known for her loving, caring, kind, strong, faithful, and generous spirit, truly a friend to all who knew her.

October 25, 1958 – July 6, 2024 Cynthia Darr Pinson, 65, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on July 6, 2024, Cynthia was born on October 25, 1958, in Fort Worth to the late Joe and Gwendolyn Rae Taylor Darr. Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10 at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

June 26, 1942 – June 29, 2024 Charlotte Rose (Butler) Brown passed away and went to Heaven on June 29, 2024. She was born June 26, 1942, in Wills Point to Clarence and Lorene (Pittman) Butler and was a proud graduate of Canton High School.

June 21, 1947 – July 13, 2024 Mrs. Barbara Feagin Vess “Bobbie”, 77, of Grand Saline, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Grand Saline, surrounded by her family.

The Van Community Library’s Summer Reading Program was in full swing on Wednesday, July 3.
