Decker, as he was fondly called by family and friends, went home to the Lord on June 11, 2024, in Canton.

June 23, 1952 – June 18, 2024 Services for Mr. Robert Wayne Beaird, 71, of Emory, were held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church, Fruitvale, with Bro.

A former Wills Point ISD teacher was arrested and booked into the Van Zandt County Jail June 20 before being released on the same day. Amanda Blakely Green, 36, of Kaufman, was charged with two counts of online solicitation of a minor by sexual conduct and possessing child pornography, according to the VZC Sheriff’s Office.
