James Michael Whitaker, 61, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Martinez, 45, of Terrell, were held Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Leon Black, 89, Austin – “Coach Black” to the many who knew and loved him – spent a lifetime built around three key pillars: faith, family and friendships. He went on to be with his Savior on Oct. 12, 2021, comfortably in his home surrounded by family.

Eutus Howeth Allen, 101, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at his home in Dallas. Eutus was born on Jan. 24, 1920, in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to parents Howeth Allen and Grace Louise Yeager Allen.

Funeral services for Edgar “Ed” Ewing Crawford, 98, of Wills Point, were held Oct. 5, 2021.

John W. Brown, 89, passed away at 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept.

A graveside service was held for Sherry Ann Northcutt, 83,. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Dunbar Cemetery in Emory, Texas, with Father Ron Studenny officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.
