Body The Republican Club of Van Zandt County has announced that tickets are available now for the club’s ‘MAGA GALA’ event scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at Victory Life Church located at 16040 State Highway 64 in Ben Wheeler.

Local safari responds to search warrant

Body Through a Facebook post Feb. 19, the Canton Grand Safari Adventure, located at 9515 FM 1255 in Grand Saline, issued a response to a search warrant served at the business by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Bond election set for May 3 in the City of Van

Body Voters in the City of Van will have the opportunity to vote in a $3.5 million bond election to address drilling, constructing, and improving Water Well #3. The order of election was called in a unanimous vote by the Van City Council during its regular monthly meeting Feb.

UT Tyler announces Honors Scholars

Body The University of Texas at Tyler recently recognized nine high school seniors as 2025 Honors Scholars. Each student has been awarded a $40,000 scholarship and accepted into the UT-Tyler Honors College.
