VZC Republicans dominate General Election results

Following the lead of results nationwide Nov. 5 during the General Election, Republicans in Van Zandt County made a strong showing as final voting results were released by the VZC Clerk’s office.

VHS state champion social studies team recognized

Prior to kickoff Oct. 25 of the varsity football game between the Van Vandals and the Pittsburg Pirates at Van’s Memorial Stadium, the Van ISD Education Foundation recognized the 2024 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Social Studies State Champions at Van High School.
The Van High School Social Studies Team received their 2024 Class 4A State Championship rings during a pre-game ceremony Oct. 25 at Van’s Memorial Stadium prior to the start of the varsity football game between the Van Vandals and the Pittsburg Pirates.
