Body Wills Point High School junior Mady Garcia capped a stellar lifting season by winning the Class 4A State Powerlifting Championship in the 259 lb. weight class March 18.

Body The Wills Point Tiger track and field program sent competitors to Farmersville March 17 to compete at the annual Farmer Relays. Wills Point placed first overall as a team in the varsity boys division with 127.

Body The Grand Saline Lady Indians hit the field twice last week, continuing District 12-3A play with games against Lone Oak and Prairiland. Grand Saline looked sharp in their first game of the week, striking early on their way to an 8-1 home win over Lone Oak.
