Gerald “Dean” Wright, Jr. passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2021, in Dallas following a long period of chronic illnesses.

A memorial and celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at Peak Street Church, located on Level 2 of the Brannon Building at 4301 Peak Street at Bryan, Dallas. Reception to follow.

Visitation and viewing were held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Hiett’s Lybrand Funeral Home, at 1701 Goodnight Blvd., Wills Point, TX 75169. A graveside service followed Cana Cemetery, located at 1861 VZCR 2147, Wills Point, TX 75169.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dean’s honor to Peak Street Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
