Fighting cancer one day at a time

Courtney Spencer is a seventh-grade teacher at Mabank ISD. She teachers reading and writing and is also a wife to her husband, Scott, and a mother of three children. Beloved by her family, community and coworkers she is often the person willing to go above and beyond to help someone. Courtney was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast on June 9, 2020, and has fought an entire year against breast cancer.
Suspect arrested on drug charges

VZC has 1,739 active cases of COVID-19

The Northeast Texas Public Health District reported that there have been7,643 confirmed or probable cases (cases with a COVID-19 positive antigen test), including 4,491 confirmed cases and 3,152 probable cases as of Monday, Oct. 4, in Van Zandt County.
