The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office released the following arrest report from March 10-17. Damuth, David Dan, 50, Canton, VIOLATION OF BOND/PROTECTIVE ORDER, Ruhter, Curtis Wayne, 42, Grand Saline, AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITHADEADLYWEAPON.

At its March 9 regular monthly meeting, the Edgewood City Council moved swiftly through a slate of 10 agenda items, adopting each by a 4-0 vote. Mayor Steve Steadham, joined by councilmembers Charlie Crabb, Inez Goggans, Ruby Smith and Louis Dunn, presided over a session that ran approximately 45 minutes at Edgewood City Hall.

Tatum Horton was recognized as the Van Oil Queen as she received a $1,200.00 scholarship from the Van Oil Queen Pageant.
