VZC needs a VFW Post, says Curtis

American Legion Post 156 Officer Dan Curtis (USAR, retired), along with other veterans, lent a helping hand to a Van Zandt County veteran throughout the week. Curtis, who is an officer with Post 156 in Emory, as well as an officer in the VFW of Seven Points and a board member of the VZC Veterans Memorial, said he sees a need for VZC to have a VFW Post.

The Proclamation of the Reconstructed 1850 Van Zandt County Courthouse and Rebuilt 1891 Calaboose Dedication Day in Van Zandt County, Texas, at the Heritage Park Museum of East Texas, in Edgewood was held Nov. 6.
