DAR begins 250th anniversary celebration in style

The National Society Daughters of the Americal Revolution (NSDAR), Neches River Chapter, celebrated the American Revolution and the upcoming 250th birthday of the nation on Feb. 23 with a visit to The American Revolution Experience exhibit in Mabank. The exhibit, sponsored by the Sarah Maples Chapter NSDAR, presented storyboards, a raffle, activities and artifacts on the roots of the United States’ break with Great Britain and the people and events of the RevolutionaryWar.

UT Health East Texas Urgent Care in Canton has relocated to a new, convenient location at 406 East State Highway 243 inside the UT Health East Texas Physicians Clinic as of Monday, March 2. The urgent care will continue to offer extended hours and walk-in access for patients needing prompt treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.
