Van ISD to close for Solar Eclipse

Eaglettes shutout Wills Point, 8-0

In a battle of Van Zandt County rivals March 15, the Canton Eaglettes outlasted the visiting Wills Point Lady Tigers, 8-0, in Canton. The Eaglettes got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the first inning after Rylee Busby hit into a fielder’s choice and the Lady Tigers committed an error, each leading to a run for Canton.
