Deadline to purchase Paul Michael building extended to Nov. 15

Body Following a closed executive session during a special called meeting June 23, the Van Zandt County Commissioners’ Court voted 4-1 to accept new renegotiated terms regarding the purchase of the Paul Michael building (1930 North Trades Day Blvd.) in Canton.

Weaver brother/sister duo collecting for firefighters

Body For the fifth consecutive year, the brother/sister duo of Grayson and Alice Weaver, Canton ISD students, will be collecting water, Gatorade, and individually wrapped snacks for local firefighters and First Responders.
