In an unexpected move, the Van Zandt County Commissioners Court voted 3-2 to deny a proposal regarding fiscal year 2024 VZC Elected Officials Salaries.

Through a power-point presentation during the Van School Board’s regular monthly meeting June 19, Van ISD Superintendent Don Dunn presented a legislative update to the trustees. School board members Shannon Johnson and Brian Horton were not in attendance.
