Conservative attorney, business owner, and public servant Brent Money today launched his campaign for the now vacant Texas House of Representatives District 2 seat. He enters the race having already raised more than $50,000 from people who live and work in the district. A sixth generation Hunt County resident, Brent is guided by the deep Texan conservative values of faith, family, and service to others. Brent has built a successful law and title business, Money Law & Title, with six offices across northeast Texas.

The Grand Saline Lady Indians saw their 2023 softball season come to a close following two straight losses to the Rains Lady Wildcats. In the opener of the best of three series May 11, Grand Saline lost to Rains, 6-2, before falling in Game 2 to the Lady Wildcats, 9-0, May 12.

1938-2023 Betty Sue Mosley Bolt was born to Frank Ray and Ola Mae Mosley in the Ash Switch Community on May 7, 1938. She went to “see her Jesus” on May 8, 2023, just hours after celebrating her 85th birthday surrounded by her family and friends.
