VZC teams go 6-0 in Week 4 as district play gets underway

davidb@vanzandtnews.com It was a long time coming but all six Van Zandt County football teams had something in common after Week 4 of regular season action as all were victorious. Some of the VZC teams opened district play Sept.

VZC football teams split six games in Week 3

Three wins and three losses for Van Zandt County football teams in Week 3 as non-district schedules are coming to a close for most squads. Van, Wills Point and Grand Saline were victorious in their Sept.

Edgewood the only winner in county during Week 2

davidb@vanzandtnews.com After seeing two out of six football teams win in Van Zandt County in Week 1, things went from bad to worse as only one squad in VZC came out victorious in Week 2. The Edgewood Bulldogs, with their 45-8 dominating victory over Rains Sept.
