Body Steven G. Brown, 71, of Tyler, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born April 4, 1951, to parents Oscar and Ethel Brown. Steve was baptized at the Canton Church of Christ when he was 11 years old.

Body Donald Gee Smith was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Longview, being the only son of Sam B.

Body Janet Leigh Hahn (Forgey) passed away on April 16, 2022, at her home in Wills Point, after a long battle with cancer. She was raised in Independence, Missouri, where she was born on April 28, 1951, to Paul and Virginia Dickinson Forgey.

Body Randall (Randy) Wade Johnson passed away April 16, 2022, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. He was born on October 2, 1971, in Dallas, to parents, Afton “Buddy” Benton Johnson and Rita Cassandra Brown.

Body Harold Lee Wright, best known by his nickname “Looter,” was born on Jan. 24, 1933, in Ben Wheeler, on Route 1 at his family’s homestead.

Body Services for Lisa Crawford Davies, 60, of Grand Saline, were held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Fruitvale Church of Christ, with Carl McCann and Jeremy Harrell officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Body Funeral services for Jimmy Lamar Newman, 84, of Edgewood, were held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial was held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Body Services for Ada Lee Bass were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Hilliard Funeral Home with a graveside service followed at Concord Cemetery in Chandler.

Body Funeral services for Geneva Thompson Slatton, 76, of Wills Point, were held 11 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022, Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline.

Body Anna Lois Granberry Wilbourn was born May 19, 1934, in Winona, Texas, to George and Viola Granberry. She was one of 11 children and the youngest of six sisters. She passed away in Canton, Texas on April 20, 2022, at the age of 87.
