Body We had a wonderful spring break at the Grand Saline Public Library. Thank you to everyone that chose to spend some of your time with us last week. Seeing all the happy smiling faces made us even more excited about our plans for the summer.

Body It was a fun crafting day at the Grand Saline Library March 17. Library visitors were encouraged to make a hedgehog out of old books and craft supplies.

Body The Wills Point Police Department is expected to welcome hundreds of visitors to Jack Lester Park June 11 as they host their 7 th annual Back the Blue Benefit.

Body The Texas Association of Appraisal Districts announced historic growth in Texas real estate values. According to the association, regions around the state have seen increases in values between 20-50 percent since last year.

Body A small margin of votes separated Van Zandt County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 incumbent Sandra Plaster and challenger Don Ashlock as the results of the March 1, 2022, Primary Election were announced.

Body In the March 20 issue of the News regarding the March 10 Van City Council meeting, it was reported that the council took no action regarding a new ordinance concerning commercial vehicles.

Body The Grand Saline Police Department took to social media last week, announcing the arrest of a suspect on a pair of charges including continuous sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.
