The start of a new football season is now less than a week away for county schools with Canton, Edgewood, Fruitvale, Grand Saline, Van and Wills Point all set to hit the field Aug. 27.

After suffering a four-set loss during their first match of the year Aug. 10, the Lady Tigers roared back with an impressive run at the Palestine Varsity Tournament Aug. 12-14.
