Another Super Bowl Sunday has arrived with a highly anticipated matchup to decide the world championship of professional football. The American Football Conference (AFC) Champion Kansas City Chiefs are taking on the National Football Conference (NFC) Champion Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m.

The Edgewood Lady Dogs have been a model of consistency on the hardwood in recent years, entering the 2022-’23 season with five consecutive district titles on their resume. Edgewood would go on to claim a sixth consecutive crown last week, powering their way to wins over Grand Saline, Paris Chisum and longtime rival Emory Rains in dominant fashion.
