Sarah Elizabeth Norman was born Oct.12, 1928, in Midland and died peacefully Sept. 14, 2023, in Tyler. The only child of Paul and Minnie Ellenberger, she was raised in the oilfields of West and East Texas and later in Arkansas.

Andy Flowers was born in Sulphur Springs and grew up in Brinker. He was one of six children of John and Ada Flowers. He joined the Army in 1966 and was discharged in 1972. He was a father to Brandy and Jeffrey from his first marriage.
