Body 1929 - 2024 Services for Bennie Merle Crow Barber, 94, of Edgewood, were held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Bright Star Baptist Church near Edgewood with Bro. Rocky Burrow and Bro.

Body 1977 – 2024 Services for Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Darnell, 46, of Rowlett, were held, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home in Grand Saline.

Body 1934 - 2024 Ben Don Jackson Age 89 passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2024, in Edgewood. He was born January 25, 1934, in VZCO to John F Jackson and Clara Bell Jackson.

Body Jason Gabriel Tidwell was born in Tyler on June 10, 1976, and died at his home in Wimberley, Texas, on January 8, 2024. He graduated from Canton High School, class of 1995, and has had family in Canton, Martins Mill and throughout Van Zandt County since the 1860s.

Body 1943 - 2024 John Franklin James, Jr., of Yantis, formerly of Edgewood, departed from this world on January 14, 2024, at the age of 80. John was born on September 13, 1943, in Edgewood to John Franklin James, Sr.

Body 1941 - 2024 Funeral services for Yolanda “Yolie” Urlanda Segui Rohus, 82, of Wills Point, were scheduled for noon Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at Union Grove Cemetery.

Body 1926 - 2024 Funeral services for Audrey Eileen Yarbrough, 97, of Edgewood were held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Body 1934 – 2024 Funeral services for Charles Wayne Minatrea, 89, of Arnold, Missouri, were held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Reverend Tim Allen officiating. Interment followed in Creagleville Cemetery.
