Services for Tommy Leon Lawrence, 84, of Lewisville, were held Friday, December 6, 2024, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Kyle White officiating. Interment was in Haven of Memories.

Mr. Lawrence passed away November 25, 2024, at his home. He was born September 22, 1940, in Grand Saline to Elgin Leon and Frances Verona East Lawrence.

Tommy grew up in Grand Saline where he was an outstanding athlete in high school. He was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Grand Saline. On March 31, 1961, he married Rita Annette Kirby. Tommy retired as a manager of ME Planning after 42 years of service at Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth. He enjoyed traveling, sports, country music, and yard work. Tommy loved his daughter and grandchildren and thought of his son-in-law as his own son.

Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Rita Annette Lawrence; parents, Elgin and Frances Lawrence; and his in-laws, Clinton and Jeffie Kirby.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Rita and Tommy Blalock; grandchildren: Hailee Annette Blalock and Hueston Thomas Blalock; brother, Bob and Roseanne Lawrence; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rex and Kathi White; nephews: Kevin White, Kyle White and Mike Lawrence; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Honorary pallbearers were Rex White, Tommy Blalock, Hueston Blalock, Kevin White, Kyle White, and Jack Smith.
