Services for Sue Huddle, 82, of Canton, were held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Roberson and Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Interment was in Haven of Memories.

Sue passed away December 27, 2025, in Canton. She was born February 7, 1943, in the Old Bethel Community to A.J. and Charlie Inez Hargrove Flowers.

Sue grew up in Van Zandt County. She was voted Most Attractive for Canton High School in 1961. After graduating from high school, she married Charles ‘Sonny’ Huddle on February 9, 1962.

She helped Sonny in all of his entrepreneurial endeavors. Sue was always there to support her children and grandchildren in their activities.

She was the best ‘Nonnie’ to her grandchildren. Sue enjoyed taking photos as evidenced by her numerous photo albums.

Sue was a classy lady who enjoyed being social, and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed working in her yard.

Sue was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton. After Sonny passed away, Sue began helping serve other families at Eubank Funeral Home. She became a welcoming and comforting presence to families.

Mrs. Huddle is preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Charlie Flowers; and her husband of 54 years, Charles ‘Sonny’ Huddle.

Sue is survived by her three sons: Kerry and Renee Huddle, Todd Huddle, and Scott and Tara Huddle; eight grandchildren: A.J. Huddle, Savannah Huddle, Andrew Huddle, Sam and Erika Huddle, Will Huddle, Jonathan and Amber Huddle, Ryan and Madeline Huddle and Sara Huddle and Kyle Rose-Peterson; five great-grandchildren: Jett, Elise, Sonny, Bear and Sadie; sister, Linda and Paul Weatherford; sister-in-law, Frances and Carl Brooks; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were A.J. Huddle, Jonathan Huddle, Sam Huddle, Andrew Huddle, Ryan Huddle, Will Huddle, Savannah Huddle and Sara Huddle.

Family received friends Tuesday evening, Dec. 30, and Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the funeral home.
