Steven L. Moser, 81, of Canton passed away on February 12, 2025. Born on April 24, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he grew up, Steven lived many years in Michigan before moving to Texas. An entrepreneur at heart, he owned and operated several small businesses throughout his life. Later in his career, he worked security at First Monday in Canton where he enjoyed engaging with the community. Steven had a deep love for the water and spent time as a ship’s captain and fisherman. He was also a pilot and an avid outdoorsman in his younger years, embracing every opportunity to appreciate nature. His thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and he approached life with an adventurous heart and a wonderful sense of humor that endeared him to those around him. A proud Texan and a loyal friend, he was known for his generosity, warmth, and larger than life stature. Cherished father, grandfather and friend, Steven is survived by his daughter, Victoria Young and her husband, Kent Young; his grandchildren Gabrielle Young and Brendan Young; and his dear friend and companion Diane Poole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Virginia Moser, as well as his sister, Cheryl Moser. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 901 Lake Drive, Wills Point.
