A memorial service for Marigrace Lang, 85, of Wills Point will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Marigrace passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Dallas.

Marigrace Littlejohn was born on leap year, February 29, 1940, in Sidney, Ohio, to parents Dwight Littlejohn and Ruth Louise Davidson Littlejohn.

She was raised on a farm in Sidney, Ohio where she later graduated from high school.

Marigrace went on to earn her nursing degree at Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She met Rudolph Michael ‘Mike’ Lang, Jr. on a blind date, and they were married on December 2, 1961, in Port Jefferson, Ohio.

The couple lived in New York for a short time before moving back to Ohio to raise their children.

In 1981, Marigrace and Mike moved to Duncanville and later settled in Wills Point in 1996, where she fulfilled her dream of living in the country in a small town.

Marigrace worked as a registered nurse for Mountain View College in Dallas for seven years and also at Baylor’s Late Night Emergency Room. She was a devoted member of Russell Memorial Methodist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, painting, and spending time outdoors, especially watching the hummingbirds and other birds that visited her feeders.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Ruth Littlejohn; sister, Jean Silvers; brother, Louis Littlejohn; and sister-in-law, Jane Lang.

Marigrace is survived by her husband, Mike Lang, Jr. of Wills Point; sons, Steve Lang and Andrew Lang and wife, Sharon, all of Wills Point; daughters, Cyndi Bell and husband, Jeff, of Austin, and Kathi Shilling and husband, David, of Canton; brother-in-law, Pete Lang of Morris Plains, New Jersey; and grandchildren, Drew Lang, Tyler Lang, Jordin Shilling, Carson Shilling, and Connor Bell.
