Funeral services for Goldie Kay Quisenberry, 57, of Wills Point, were held Monday, August 22, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.

Goldie passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in Quinlan.

Goldie Kay Patton was born on November 28, 1964, in Grundy, Virginia, to parents Paul Robert Patton, Sr. and Ethel Mullins Patton. She was raised in Detroit, MI, and her family later moved to Mineral Wells when Goldie was 15. She married Donald Wayne Quisenberry on December 2, 1989, in Seminole. Goldie and Don moved to Lake Tawakoni in 1998 to make their permanent home. She was employed as an Information Technology Technician in safety for American National Bank for 19 years before recently retiring. Goldie was of the Christian faith. She was quite the expert in computers, enjoyed fishing and was a wonderful cook. Goldie loved most spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Patton, Sr. and Ethel Mullins Patton, and brothers, Paul Patton; Ronnie Patton, and Tommy Patton.

Goldie is survived by her husband, Don Quisenberry; daughter, Brandi Rae Martin and husband, Beau of Wills Point; son, Cecil John “CJ” Peugh of Wills Point; brothers, Donald Stacey and wife, Linda of Tennessee, and Ernest Patton and wife, Beth of Ft. Smith, OK; grandchildren: Caden Peugh; Riley Quisenberry; Auston Peugh; Connor Martin, and Kiara Furrh.

Visitation was held Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
